Among them, Shimen Pass Scenic Area will offer a 'sing to enter for free' event from October 1 to 7. Visitors can sing a song at the ticket checkpoint, and upon verification by the staff, they can enter for free, with a daily limit of 77 people. Citizens of Dali Prefecture can visit Jizu Mountain for free on October 1 with their ID. October 1 – October 7: The 2026 National Day Celebration Mini Market and Local Specialty Product Exhibition will be held at the entrance plaza of Yangnan Creek in the Dali Erhai Ecological Corridor. Centered on 'low-carbon environmental protection, ecological sharing, and integration of agriculture, culture, and tourism,' it condenses highland scenery, ethnic culture, and the concept of Erhai ecological protection into a compact market, offering citizens and tourists a visible, accessible, and immersive holiday experience.
Agricultural, cultural, and tourism enterprises from both inside and outside Yunnan Province are participating in the exhibition, gathering high-quality goods from their places of origin. The products are divided into four main categories: highland specialty agricultural products, intangible cultural heritage creative handmade items, fine teas from Yunnan mountains, and seasonal fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Hundreds of distinctive products are showcased in one place, offering a one-stop experience to explore the authentic local customs of Dali and take highland goods home.
Every day from 10:30 to 11:00, there is a flash performance of ethnic cultural songs and dances. Performers in ethnic costumes sing and dance, showcasing Dali's colorful ethnic charm in a lively and festive performance. On-site, there are also promotional points themed on the protection of Erhai Lake, paired with fun and interactive environmental games.
