The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 443.87 points to 50,906, the lowest since early June; the S&P 500 dropped 0.25%, while the Nasdaq rose 0.24%. Among the 11 sectors of the S&P, nine declined and two rose, with consumer staples and healthcare leading the losses, while the technology sector remained stable against the market trend.
